week 4

On this week,i decide to purchase some material for my project. I went to LoxXtronic enterprise to buy the hardware that will be use in this project. Below are the items that been bought.

• RFID passive card

• GSM modem

The main features of the modem are:

·         2 Watts E-GSM 900 radio section.

·         1 Watt GSM 1800 radio section.

·         32 Mbits of Flash memory and 4 Mbits of SRAM.

·         Real Time Clock with calendar.

·         Echo cancellation + noise reduction.

·         A 3V / 5V SIM interface.

• RFID reader
• USB to RS232

week 1 and 2

Earlier, i meet with the supervisor to confirm about the changes that being made. with the approval,i can proceed with the next step that is writing the Visual language for my project.

To understand about the IDE, research has been made on youtube to make it easier for me to work on the application.

Week 15

I have submitted the progress report, FYP report chapter 1 2 and 3 and also updating my blog. All the information has been stated and i'm still doing the research. I will study the Visual basic to make me more clear about on how to write the program. on this semester break, i will start to do the software development and for next semester i will start doing the hardware part.

Week 14

In this week,I need to submit the progress report and also the FYP report.the progress report is about all the progress that have been made this semester. The planning on how to do next semester also been written to make supervisor clear about what will I do next semester.

Week 13

After finished fyp presentation,we need to start doing the progress report of our project.based on my project,I have done the research about the hardware and software that I need to do in this project.The sofware that I need to use is PCB,PIC and C language.The hardware such as GSM modem,RFID tags,RFID reader and also the PC or laptop.I have meet my advisor to ask about the detail about the progress report.I have updated my blog to make it more detail and follow the flow of works.
